Our worship is supported by music at all our services except for the mid–week and Sunday celebrations of 8am Holy Communion.
St Nicholas’ and St Mary’s each have a choir, both of which are affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music. Sometimes the two choirs come together for major services. We are eager to recruit new choir members from all ages.
The organs at St Mary’s and St Nicholas’ are used regularly, and the instrument at St Mary’s, made by Bryceson and Ellis, is of especially high quality. St Thomas’ has a chamber organ which is used when possible. For less formal services, we are hoping to include on occasion the use of other musical instruments, drawing from local music talent.
